How My thesis went today: in the style of Hyperbole and a Half

First, I decided to focus on my thesis.
Then, I looked at Hyperbole and a Half. And read archives. In my mind, it is Ally's fault I could not focus.
But I became resolved again to focus!
And then... I decided to blog about it.

Bubble Bobble BLAST!

So in a new random change of pace, I, Chris Williams, fiancee extraordinaire, will be the author of this entry. So expect big things.

Big.

Things...

Yes, that is how I would start this post off were it not past midnight and my poor, aching eyes softly crying (pun intended) out for sleep.

So instead of big things for tonight I'll keep it brief. But in the future... yah. Big things... Almost 100% maybe.

Tonight Heather and I went to the Dollar store. Fun place, and so many memories. It was great seeing so many of the chinsy, cheap, yet so-much-fun toys and gimmicks that we both played with in our childhood.

We bought Easter presents for each other, but in particular during our exploration of the land of $0.99, she introduced me to the wonders of plastic bubbles.

I had never heard of such things, but boy did I miss out as a child. We got two and proceeded to fill the car with them (with the windows down of course. The chemicals from those things are... powerful...)

TL;DR: Plastic bubbles are great, and if you don't know what I'm talking about then go to your local Dollar store right now and ask the clerk for them.

Edit by Heather: They are often called B'loonies.

Chris is awesome

Just wanted to do a quick post to say that Chris has been so sweet lately. He helped me grade stuff (tests included) and has just been attentive and sweet over all. I can tell he's been trying harder to be on time to things, too, which means a lot to me.

April ... showers. Of snow.

Last night, it snowed. A lot. Today we saw these on the way home from my parents' house. 3 snowmen hanging out in the sun. Nice.

But seriously. It's April. Stop snowing.
